Why didn’t I get the Galaxy Brain achievement after my answer was marked as accepted? #684

Hi everyone I recently answered a Discussion in my own repository, and the person who asked the question marked my reply as the accepted answer. However, I didn’t receive the Galaxy Brain achievement on my GitHub profile. Does anyone know why this happens or how the Galaxy Brain badge actually works? |

Hi @9jeas You only get the Galaxy Brain achievement when your answer is marked as “Accepted” in someone else’s repository, not your own. If the discussion is in a repo you own or maintain, GitHub doesn’t count it as a community contribution. Try answering a question in another public repo that has Discussions enabled. |
