Hang at First launch

Hello,

When launching the software from a fresh boot on linux (lubuntu) via an SH script, the emu hang, after a kill, launching again the same script works.

Don't know how to do this!

The only thing i see is the emu windows displaying itself but being hang with a copy of the desktop inside it's content. I terminate it, after a while it close. Launching the script a second time is ok.

I will provide the script but nothing is specific it's the same for most emu i use.

hi uh, i tryed the emulator on windows but after launching my roms i get a black scren, the game doesn't load or anything, a message appears that says it is loading the game but it doesn't do anything

Windows?
Do you have the files in an accessible location? Some cloud storage services can add delays.
Also, with zipped CDs it can take a little bit to decompress and load the file.

yes, i do, i use an external hdd which is good but when i start the games on magic engine i have no issues but when i try to run any game on this emulator i get a black screen without anything else

Can you place and test any rom in a local hdd?
Just to understand if it is really failing because of the external hdd, which would be quite odd in fact.

yeah i tryed it on my internal ssd, same result, a message pops up saying the game is loading but nothing happens, all i get is a black screen, i guess i will keep using magic engine since that works
