Reflectivity Gate Filter & Other Features

This is a really great tool and love the chance of adding your own placefiles. A couple of requests/questions

• is there a way to alter the reflectivity gate filter? There is a lot of clutter around radar sites (typical, I know) but it would be great to get that out of the way to clean up the view.

• 3d integration would be fantastic in future versions to see hail cores, rotation, updrafts, etc.

• The option to fill placefile polygons - ex. uploading an SPC placefile but only the lines are shown being able to shade in the polylines would be great.

1. Currently the only filtering method is modify your color table to increase the minimum reflectivity value. This is a very basic filter, but can be effective if are not looking other returns like gust fronts, insect or bird swarms and roosts, etc. The documentation for color tables would be a good place to start. https://supercell-wx.readthedocs.io/en/stable/user-guide/settings.html#color-tables
2. 3d radar integration would be a large undertaking. I would not completely rule it out, but it is not likely to be added in the immediate future. A likely method of integration would be to create a connection to OpenStorm, although we cannot use it directly in Supercell Wx because the license is incompatible with ours.
3. Placefiles can have both lines and polygons. Lines are not filled (and do not necessarily form closed shapes), and polygons are. There are SPC placefiles which use polygons, including one hosted on the Suprecell Wx website. See SPC Day 1 Outlook Polygon at https://placefiles.supercellwx.net/.
