pattern matching on method parameters

Has there been any thoughts or discussion on using switch patterns on parameters, to shorthand writing guard checks at the beginning of a method?

e.g. instead of the following:

BankAccount Withdraw(int amount, BankAccount account)
{
    if (account is not { total: >= 0, isActive: true })
    {
        throw new ArgumentException("account is not { total: >= 0, isActive: true }")
    }

    return account with { total = account.total - amount };
}

public record BankAccount(int total, bool isActive);

You could have:

BankAccount Withdraw(int amount, BankAccount { total: >= 0, isActive: true } account)
{
    return account with { total = account.total - amount };
}

public record BankAccount(int total, bool isActive);
