[.NET 8.0][SignalR] flow diagnostics context

Is there a way in SignalR .NET Client to flow diagnostics context (DistributedContextPropagator.Inject/DistributedContextPropagator.ExtractTraceIdAndState) without changing the methods and notifications?

Use .NET 9 and listen to the "Microsoft.AspNetCore.SignalR.Client" activity source.

Are you saying that in .NET 9 I can get a complete trace from the client to the server?

Sure, I guess you can stay on .NET 8 and use the 9.0+ client. The SignalR server won't do anything with the activities if it's on .NET 8.0, you will get HTTP activities from the hosting layer, which would include the websocket connection.

I tried with .NET 10 projects and it does show traces from client to server, but not server to client:

So, I guess there's some sort of backchannel for that. Can I use that channel on .NET 8?
