Is there a good way to find the baseuri when registering httpclient for serverside blazor?

I've played around a little trying to acquire it from navigationmanager, but I'm struggling with it not being initialized or available as it is scoped.

services.AddHttpClient("MyApi", (s,client) =>
            {
                string uri;
                using (var scope = s.CreateScope())
                {
                    uri = scope.ServiceProvider.GetRequiredService<NavigationManager>().BaseUri;
                }
                client.BaseAddress = new Uri(uri);
                });

Tried to create a scope but I just can't get hold of anything useful. Is the recommended way to go to provide baseurl from configuration?
