Application hangs i.e not responding across browsers

Application hangs and doesn't respond after two or three clicks around.
What could be the issue.

Hi there,

My first recommendation is to use Firefox as it's the most stable but will work in Chrome with small lists.

Second, would be to make sure your file is an .xlsx file type.

Third, the pkg I use to read excel files creates an array of arrays ( each row is its own array). And it does not like empty cells.

Fourth, make sure have data/text in column A, B, and C. When it builds the "player" list, it loops through each column of a row to build a "player". The columns should be setup like this:

A	B	C
Firstname	Lastname	Email/Ticket Number

If you have a row that contains a Firstname, empty Lastname cell, but does have an email, it will throw an error in the console. Example below:

A	B	C
John		johnsmith@email.com

The best to look for issues is to open up the DevTools and see whats being logged to the console.

I have this running on a server now. Are you trying to run it locally?

Forgot to mention that I have examples in the repo for how the data should be formatted as well as one that will show you what an error looks like.

I'm running it locally. I'm even using your test data to run it but yet it still freezes after two or three spins. I've not modified the data or code in any way. I've just cloned and ran a local server on it, and then these problems come up.

The console is not logging anything. The app is just hanging in the browser.
I'm using Brave Browser

Understood.

The best browser to use is Firefox. Chrome works pretty well for smaller data sets as long as the duration is longer (over 8 seconds).

I have not tested in Brave so I will look into what the issue might be. For now, I would switch to firefox
