Bot only follows commands from other users and not from the user on the account.

I cannot understand why the SelfBot only processes messages from other users. There are 4 commands: react(Automatically react to users saved in a JSON file), stop(Stop reacting to users), mimic(Copy messages from other users) and stopmimic( Stop copying messages from other users). I have made sure I made it clear to the bot which User ID I wanted it to follow, but it only listens to the one not being hosted.
I ran it through ChatGPT and pretended the code was for a regular bot but the changes it made were not effective. Any help?
