Ability to merge spools

I’ve bought a filament welder that allows me to join two filaments. I use it to append the last meters of one spool to another spool of the same color, so I can use the first one until the very end. However, when I tried to replicate this fusion in my spool list, I ended up setting manually the first spool to 0g remaining and adding the amount to the other spool.

My suggestion is to add a button next to the “Add Spool” button in the “Spools” tab that will allow us to “Merge Spools” after selecting two spools from the list. The goal here is to empty the most used spool and add the remaining filament amount to the other one. It could also refresh the last used date if needed, check if the colors are the same, etc.
