Enable prometheus metrics using helm chart

Guys, how can I enable Prometheus metrics using the official helm chart (https://github.com/distribworks/dkron-helm) ?

I did not find any way to set a config.yaml file to enable the enable-prometheus (as defined at https://dkron.io/docs/usage/metrics ) and tried to set this using env variables like DKRON_ENABLE_PROMETHEUS or DKRON_ENABLE-PROMETHEUS (as defined at https://dkron.io/docs/basics/configuration), but it did not work too.

Does anyone know another way to make it work ?

I managed to expose metrics (on Docker) by setting DKRON_ENABLE_PROMETHEUS=true env variable and scraping the metrics on http://localhost:8080/metrics.

The docs have a typo in the configuration:

scrape_configs:
  ... #initial configuration
  
  - job_name: "dkron_metrics"
    # metrics_path defaults to '/metrics'
    static_configs:
      - targets: ["localhost:6080"] # should be localhost:8080

I'm using the helm chart version and it is not working.

I put the env variable using the envs tag like below:

  envs:
  - name: DKRON_ENABLE_PROMETHEUS
    value: true

And tried to access the endpoint http://localhost:8080/metrics locally in the pod and received HTTP 404.

What does your values.yaml file look like? Have you overriden the image tag with the latest (v4.0.4)?

Seems like the chart is outdated, since it is using version 3.2.1 as a default:

Im not sure if prometheus metrics were already introduced in that version, but you could try to deploy the latest

I updated it to version 4.0.4 and it still does not working.
