What problem does the suggested tool solve?

Linguists need to be able to convert data between various formats.

What features should the suggested tool have?

• Text processing could happen in a worker to avoid blocking the main thread.
• Conversion errors (and success) should be listed in a notifications area.
• Users can use querystrings to request conversions programmatically.
