Cyberpunk 2077 cant sync and gog crashes

hello,

i am trying to start (for the first time on this machine) Cyberpunk.
as soon as i press "play" starts the the sync and it freezes, seconds later i get

if i press "Cancel" i get this

has anyone encounter the same thing?
is there any way to fix this?
