Moved to discussions - not a bug. must be a config issue and so what is in the notification logs? and the logs in general? |

@Immanuel-Codoid so you just broadcasted your gmail password to the whole internet by pasting that log, please be more thoughtful.... I would suggest deleting that log snippet |

I would be interested in the correct format as well. I haven't had any success in getting email alerts to work. |

Notification set to be sent to my Email ID but I didn't receive any
Version
0.39.19.1
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Expected behavior
When I enter notification URL eg**(mailto://username:password@gmail.com?to=receivingaddress@gmail.com)** I should receive notification email in the receiving address
Actual behavior
Notification mail is not received and the under the watch website I see "Notification error detected, please see logs."
