Changelog of changedetection

I've had the detection of the change log since I first installed changedetection, but I've wondering if it is possible for it to only fire off a notification when an actual version is released. At the moment it does so for every single change before the release.

Unless there is some clever way for me to change the settings of the detection, could the change log not prefix the releases with something to make them unique e.g.

Instead of - 0.50.10
Show - Release 0.50.10
