doing a devspace purge but retaining mysql pod db data

We currently have 2 pods running - the app pod and mysql pod deployed through helm chart by devspace deployment. I am wondering is there a way I can retain the db data when purging through devspace and reinstating it on mysql pod when doing dev? Thanks
