Copy settings for paper source and others?

Printer: iR-ADV C3822
Driver: Canon Generic Plus PCL6

Is it possible to copy settings for paper source and others to the JSON file when using PackagePrinter? I have to migrate multiple printers from a Domain Controller to Intune and the customer has 4 printers for each paper source because they need to print regular A4 and certificates etc. Printune doesn't seem to copy over settings like paper source or color etc. Is this possible?

Hi @seirdotexe, there is a function built-in to use the printui.exe /Ss and /Sr commands to save and restore device configurations. But what is store at the device level and what is stored at the driver level varies from vendor to vendor and even by model and driver version from what I've read. The distinction essentially comes down to what is a user-space configuration and what is lower level.

When testing with our Xerox MFDs, it didn't capture the colour settings, so I'm not sure about how useful it is.

That said, if there is a more reliable approach that is vendor agnostic, I'd be happy to look into it.
