Secure Boot Process before nvidia driver install #44

Been working with getting linux on a laptop with new HDD. Secure boot enabled in the bios. (note, have my other desktop all on fedora 42 using this guide previously without issue, no secure boot enabled on that device/dual boot system)

Went through fedora install, then this guide, nvidia drivers, etc. Could never get external displays working quite right, maybe 1, maybe none. Switching between systems using a kvm always froze the fedora OS. couldn't figure out why. Fresh install. Tried mint, was able to get monitors to work (kinda) after a while and seeing something about the MOK process needed for 3rd party drivers to be done. Didn't do it because of confusion (documentation not as clear as it could have been), had issues with the displays. Did the MOK process in mint per the docs/additional reading/searching, then the displays worked fine in mint (other issues/use made it not the OS i wanted to use, but verified that it should work).

Did another fresh fedora 42 KDE install. Was going to try fedora workstation, or find other distros that could maybe work.

Saw something about doing the following process before installing nvidia drivers in fedora when looking into this issue (https://rpmfusion.org/Howto/Secure%20Boot).

Used those steps, now all the external displays work with the nvidia drivers and the kvm without any issues in fedora 42, no freezes or crashes. Suggest adding the secure boot option in this guide for those that have secure boot enabled to make sure the MOK process is done to get the 3rd party drivers workings for nvidia.
