Proxies (in the parameters) is not present in the recent releases

The source code in master has proxies set as a parameter in all the appropriate functions. Even the documentation shows it as being a parameter, however, when you grab the most recent release/tag, it does not include the proxies functionality, so it errors out when using it.

What I ended up doing to get around this for now is to reference the master branch in my requirements.txt file. Here's an example:

scrapetube @ git+https://github.com/dermasmid/scrapetube@master

You'll want to rerun pip (or whatever Python package manager you use) so it pulls it down.

This approach worked for me and proxy parameters are now available.

Seems the owner of scrapetube is not much interested in the project anymore, and is merging outdated Pool Requests that generate conflicts and ends-up removing features incorporated by previously merged Pool Requests, among other issues.

If scrapetube is relevant for you, then I recommend to make a fork and start a new public development, and insert it at
