No we do not. I don't see us enforcing that either. If a vault name isn't given with a link, then it is ambiguous. Only Cross vault links are unambgiguously defined for multi-vault. This is okay though -> our default resolution when no xvault link is specified is to use the first vault that has a matching file. Since this is how it is rendered, we can use [[Approach 2: traverse the links down from rendered note|scratch.2021.09.15.103955.fixing-caching-preview-with-references#approach-2-traverse-the-links-down-from-rendered-note]] to see if the ref has been updated. My vote is for the traversal approach (when previewing a note, check if note refs have been updated) |
