Overview

Aims of the Meeting

The purposes of this meeting are to:

  • update each other on recent developments and current activities;
  • discuss more what we actually expect from DELPH-IN (and each other);
  • create the opportunity for contentful exchange on computational grammar research in the DELPH-IN spirit

Registration

Please register on the ParticipantsGroup page by adding the times when you plan to arrive and depart. Note that this is a closed summit, you need to be on the ParticipantsGroup page to edit it.

Location

Note that you need to book your hotel before the end of June to get the discount.

Program

We would still like to hear your preferences and suggestions, especially on the following:

  1. topics that you'd like to see discussed at the summit
  2. topics that you'd like to present at the summit

Suggestions:

  • outreach activities with the HPSG participants (FCB)
  • student session
    • try to get (constructive) feedback for PhD work, rather than just give a status update.
    • see how new work can be fed back to the mainstream
    • mentoring ? it may be good to have comments/support from a DELPH-IN member not from your school
  • parallel corpus comparison?
    • try to parse some text beforehand and look at issues cross-lingusitically
