The [http://www.informatics.susx.ac.uk/research/nlp/Natural Language and Computational Linguistics] group at [http://www.sussex.ac.uk/informatics/ Informatics, University of Sussex] comprise around 20 researchers woking on machine learning and hybrid symbolic-statistical approaches to NLP.

Work related to DELPH-IN includes the [http://www.informatics.sussex.ac.uk/research/nlp/rasp/ RASP] parsing system for English (which includes a module for output of Robust MRS), and the [http://www.informatics.susx.ac.uk/research/nlp/cogent/ COGENT project] on wide-coverage generation; as part of the latter, John Carroll is collaborating with Stephan Oepen at Oslo on further development of the LKB generation component.
