DELPH-IN at DFKI Language Technology Lab

[http://www.dfki.de/lt DFKI Language Technology Lab] is a research team directed by [http://www.dfki.de/~hansu Hans Uszkoreit] at [http://www.dfki.de DFKI] (German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence) in Saarbrücken, Germany. The approximately 25 members of the team closely cooperate with DelphinSaarland (Computational Linguistics Department at Saarland University).

DFKI LT is working on various topics in language technology, including HPSG Grammar development for German and [http://www.delph-in.net/jacy Japanese].

Software contributions to [http://www.delph-in.net Delph-In] include the further development and extensions to [http://www.delph-in.net/pet PET] and the [http://www.delph-in.net/heartofgold Heart of Gold] middleware for the integration of deep and shallow natural language processing components including adapters to various components such as [http://www.delph-in.net/pet PET], [http://www.coli.uni-saarland.de/~thorsten/tnt/ TnT], [http://chasen.aist-nara.ac.jp ChaSen] and [http://sprout.dfki.de SProUT].
