3d mode crashing

I have nvidia 3050ti, 4gb vram, I have successfully generated videos with --medvram parameter launch. Sometimes when trying to make a 3d mode video, it crashes out after rendering some percentage of the video. Does this mean I am running into gpu shortage or something else?

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I did git pull in my stable diffusion directory should that have gotten me these recent updates? It said already up to date...

Ok I didn't realize I need to do git pull of deforum extension specifically, I guess I just did the webui itself. Will try again

now definitely up to date. still getting errors when ~35% through.

Ok now I got an egpu with rtx 4090 set up. The error no longer occurs, able to render high frame count. However, it only utilizes ~6 gb VRAM at any given time. Is there anything I can do to get it to utilize more and be faster?
