What if we also wanted the computer to generate the questions to ask in the first place from the same group of documents?

In Haystack, there is the QuestionGenerator node:
it takes a Document as input and generates questions that it believes the Document can answer.

Have you taken a look at the QuestionGenerator docs and tutorial?
