Due to the discontinuation of maintenance for autotest in dpgen, APEX package should be used separately. I will close this Q&A. If you encounter the same issue, please use APEX, which has been tested and shown not to produce the above-mentioned error.

Mind:
The "command" keyword in dpge machine.json file has been changed to "run_command" in APEX.
