Autorefresh and statistics

Hi,

I created a small chart to visualize my solar plants power output. refresh_interval is set to 10 seconds. After applying

    statistic: mean
    period: 5minute

the affected entity stopped being refreshed automatically. Is this intended behavior, a misconfiguration or a bug?

That would be a bug. Can you replicate it consistently?

Yes - it can be replicated consistently. My chart contains three entities. I enabled the statistics setting one by one. After enabling it for the first entity, the remaining entities without statistics were still updated.
Meanwhile I also updated refresh_interval to 300 since it does not make sense to update every 10 seconds when using 5minute stats.
If it helps nailing down this issue I can try replicating it with a less complex chart.
