Only show the last value of a sensor as a marker on the Now line?

Dear All,
A friend of mine made me aware of plotly and now I am moving more and more of my graphs to plotly. As plotly offers more felxibility I can also get rid of some entities cards in my PV dashboard, as I can see it in a glance in the chart ... but now my requirements & ideas are also going a bit bonkers ;): Is it possible, to show only the last value of a sensor as a marker on the Now-line? I searched here and in the HA community, but unfortunately did not find anything describing my requirement & if it works in plotly

Example: My total energy consumption today is plotted as the yellow line. I would like to put a marker (one dot only) on the dotted "Now" line to provide additional information.

I don't want to have a graph/curve plotted for charging the BEV - I just want to see how much of the current consumption today went into the BEV ...

ok, after pondering a bit I found a solution by myself in just setting the line width to 0:
