xcode-select cannot install XCode (Unable to write to tmp folder)

Actual Result
xcode-select fails to install CLTools

Steps To Reproduce

1. Follow curl hangs due to DNS resolution #1220 to enable DNS resolution in darling shell
2. Shutdown and restart shell
3. Run xcode-select --install

Maybe this could result from a compatibility issue with btrfs?

Your ~/.darling.workdir might be corrupted. Try deleting both ~/.darling and ~/.darling.workdir and doing the steps over again.
