Can I use .playground from nuxt layer in my Vitest tests?

For example:

const { apiF24, apiFollow24, isDev } = useRuntimeConfig().public;
console.log({ apiF24, apiFollow24, isDev }); // { apiF24: '', apiFollow24: '', isDev: true }

But I have NUXT_PUBLIC_API_F24 variable in .env. I thought it was maybe a problem with public variables, but for useRuntimeConfig() I also have the same problem.

As Workaround I defined process.env.* || '' instead of '' in nuxt.config.ts, in defineNuxtConfig().runtimeConfig.public.
I will add that the problem occurs when testing the nuxt layer. This may not be the case for the standard nuxt project.
