Github action :?

I think there are some use cases where people might enjoy using fabric as a github action in some automation process.
The most basic example I can think of is automating the changelog entry on every push to the main/master branch.
The workflow should return the text that people can later append to their README or format in a specific way to add entries to a static website and automate changelog entries.
I'm curious about what others might think about such an action and if anyone has an idea of how it might be utilized.
