Game crashes at "The Valley of Bones 496"

When choosing "Give the monkeys an item" the game crashes at "The Valley of Bones 496". (Windows 7)

(Btw just stumbled upon your work today and love what you did with the Legendary Kingdoms gamebook!)

Hi. Thanks for reporting. What was the error message when it crashed? Do you have a copy of your save file? I don't think you can send it here as an attachment but in any case, I'll try to replicate it.

Hi Dael, thank you for your message! Wasn't sure if you're still working on the project. Unfortunately I can't send you the save file, as I don't know which save it is. That's another problem/error: When having more than 6 saves (or I don't know which number - I have 159 saves... so maybe that's too much) the loading/saving screen only shows the last 6 saves. You can scroll through all the saves, because the errors on the right side show so - but it still shows the initial 6 saves. So if you're looking to load a save thats later than the last 6 saves I have to count for every scroll down and click on the last/6th save thats shown - hope you know what I mean. Anyway, trying to reply directly via e-mail here, don't know if it's possible to send an attachment - but gonna try to send you my last save. I found a few other bugs, but can't replicate it as I don't find the save anymore (it's too far gone to scroll blindly through it ; ). Don't know if it helps if I describe it in-game for you? - When breaking into the door in the basement of the Palace of Unbrakki after asking Brekken and the thieves in Saltdad to help you, it shows you 7 items (including 1500 silver coins) and says you have to give 3 items to the thieves. So that should mean you can keep 4. But when it comes to choosing it says "You can keep 3 items" and there are only 6 items left (the magical weave from the initial 7 items isn't shown anymore). - The other one was when fighting against the salt dragon in the salt mines - as loot you also would get 1000 gold silver coins, but instead of added, they get substracted from you. - The Valley of Bones 169 - when picking "Pretend to be a messenger, and say that their captain needs them urgently" there's no skill check. At least it's not shown, maybe there's one in the background. But still, usually it says what skill check and which party members to use. - Also: sometimes, when opening the equipment of the party (or if you find items and have to click on them which ones to find), one of those items gets kinda displaced so you can't click on it. Not so much a problem when in the equipment tab - just go back and then back into the equipment. But a problem when picking up items - as you can't go back with the back button. Gonna (try to) attach a screenshot. - Not a bug or errer, but: Is there a possibility to change spells somehow? I guess it's not possible in the original book either unless you stumble upon a new spell. But - when using the original book I could just erase a spell and say, for example, and exchange one of my found/learned ones in my imaginary "grimoire" and now have 6 different spells than before, so I'm not stuck with the same 6 spells for eternity. That's what I found so far.

PS: Found a solution for the spell as I just changed the spell/equipment limit in the save and added the other spells manually from a new save ; )

Another bug: There's a sword called Skallos Runeblade, it should give +3 fighting skill and +2 lore. But it only gives +3 fighting.

Thanks! Will try and fix these. Thanks for the reporting all the bugs and annoyances you have found. They sound pretty serious (or at least pretty annoying). Thanks for sending over in the comments, the save files. They're gonna be useful.

regarding your fix for the spell limit. I would have done the same, I think
