On "Timing Sum-Thing's Up," it displays the non-Gauss and Gauss blocks as reporter blocks. It then tells you to place it after another block, implying that it must be a command block in order to link with the other blocks in the script. Although you can just put the non-Gauss or Gauss block in a "say ___" block, it may be helpful if they were displayed as command blocks in the first place.
