Specter built-in Tor not working

Hi. I've been trying to figure out why the built in tor on my specter is not working. When I clicked Start, say it is running but when I switch to a different tab back to Tor setting, it say the service Stopped. How do I get it to work? Or how do I set up custom tor configuration? thanks you

Disclaimer: I'm not very technical person, but I can follow step by step instruction, currently using a MAC.
