Custom time period

Right now, I can select the evaluated time period to be one of a predefined list (Everything, Last Three Days, ...).

I would like these presets to be extended by one or two additional datepickers allowing to set options like:

- From now back to Date
- Interval in the Past: start-date to end-date

Does seem this feature reasonable?
