Provide the ability to apply the rendered manifests

The provider provisions the chart - i believe - with "helm install", it will be great to add the option to use "kubectl apply (rendered chart manifests)"

ArgoCD Application resources support this, so one potential workaround would be to install provider-argocd and use an Application instead of a Release.
