• better renaming of compiler and tools

  currently the renaming is done via a very hacky shell script. we should properly rename the compiler and all of the tools. note that we don't need to rename *all* instances of the word "rust" (and to avoid breaking everything we shouldn't), just public-facing references.

• first steps in experimental branch

  we want to have an experimental branch so that we can make changes that aren't necessarily compatible with the upstream project. the first step in this would be to create the branch itself, but then adding `.crab` file extension support (in addition to `.rs`) would be great.
