Description
Describe the bug
I get this is not technically a bug but for new or unaware users might misconstrue it as such. I downloaded the latest version of Perseus and it fails to start with .NET framework versions older than 8.0.
To Reproduce
My system only had version 4.8, so by attempting to start PerseusGui.exe the app simply would not run. Installing version 8.0 fixed this.
Expected behavior
The download and installation instructions on the Perseus website indicate that the software should be compatible with .NET Framework 4.7.2 or higher.
Desktop (please complete the following information):
- OS: Windows 11
- Version 24H2
Additional context
I noticed that the changelog states Perseus runs on .NET Framework version 8.0 and forgot that Microsoft has discontinued support on older versions. Figured I would let you guys know so you could update the website and save yourselves a potential headache if someone new is attempting to run Perseus on an older machine without the newer .Net Framework versions. Although I did not check compatibility with versions 9.0 or 10.0.
