Hello! I've been trying for the past few days to set up this theme with a github site. However I keep running into an issue. Whenever I run the site locally, everything I do works perfectly. But whenever I push my changes to github and try to access the site, none of the changes appear and it just looks like the default template.

When I try running the htmlchecker on the site with bundle exec htmlproofer _site, I get 54 failures - very similar to the ones found in this issue.

Any help would be appreciated, if you think it can't be solved let me know so I can stop wasting my time on this. Honestly if there's a way to disable the htmlchecker it would probably work, but that's probably only a last resort tbh.

I have tried restarting from scratch, and even changing only one line of the template (the title) won't show up.
