Last file position when switch between files?

I have just started to use Cot Editor having migrated from Vi, but is there any way for Cot Editor to remember the last file position?

I tend to use Cot Editor against a directory, where I have a list of files on the left hand side - when I switch back and forth between the files, it keeps reverting back to the start of the file instead of where I was previously at?

Hoping there is just an option I haven't checked somewhere?

Currently, CotEditor lacks such a feature because it’s primarily designed for editing single files and not managing projects. CotEditor has just recently introduced a file browser feature as an adjunct to file editing. So, this kind of requests will be task in the future.
