CLI Assistant/OpenAI API compatibility

Projects like Clio are really useful https://github.com/gptscript-ai/clio

Completing the loop of idea, to code, and testing if it worked, etc. And it a clear use-case for local, secure AI as giving access to local files to OpenAI or other third-parties is a bad idea/security nightmare

Clio uses the OpenAI API and allows any dropin replacement like Ollama and Deepseek, etc. There's even a Google Gemini-OpenAI API proxy project out there. So translation is possible too. Just curious what the plan is on a standard API as right now it seem like OpenAI is the de-facto standard
