How to update images with nerdctl compose?

In the guides for the docker compose that I find it written:

docker-compose pull
docker-compose up -d

I do:

nerdctl compose pull
nerdctl compose up -d

but old images are launched

Should I remove all the images manually before pulling?

UPD:
Strange, but old versions programs are launched even after I remove them with nerdctl image rm <ID> command and pulling new images

My mistake was that I did the compose pull as a my user and compose up -d as root.
