Some redirects not functioning

Hello we are using Sitecore version 10.1.1

We put in 7 redirects, 3 of them don't work as intended. I reindexing nuking the redirects and entering them again nothing seems to help. Any suggestions?

We have some old URL's that don't exist anymore for example
https://www.corbion.com/AnimalHealth should redirect to https://www.corbion.com/Markets/Biochemical-specialties/Animal-health-and-nutrition but it only hits a 404.

I just found out some custom changes were made to make the redirects work in Sitecore 10.1 here's the fork the work was done in.
