Alpine arm64 build?

Is there a plan to package an alpine arm64 build in libredist-kafka?

I'm currently (manually) creating an arm64 librdkafka build using the musl toolchain on an alpine image and slipping it in alongside the libredist-kafka libs as part of the build process. I thought I'd stop and ask whether there was an existing plan before beginning to look at cross-compilation to take me and my machine out of the loop.
