  • Announce 25.7.0 in-progress
• Publish release
• Merge 25.7.x back into main
• Activate the 25.7.x branch on ReadTheDocs
• Bump/update feedstocks
  • Anaconda, Inc.'s feedstock
  • conda-forge feedstock ENH: update package version to 25.7.0 conda-forge/conda-build-feedstock#261
• Hand off to packaging team(s)
• Announce release
  • Create & publish conda.org blog post
  • Post on Zulip thread

Release is currently being blocked by these two items:

• CI is currently broken #5751
• Removing deprecations #5755

This release is going to be very small. We will essentially just be removing some deprecated code in conda_build/render.py (see the pull request above for more details).
