Compile all clientside templates instead of accessing them through DOM #65
Description
The UI is currently running very slowly when many tags are added, and I think this is part of the issue. The templates could be compiled in some initial layout view or something, and named such that they can be accessed as described here: http://api.jquery.com/template/
