add tag color to ip-tag script

The script works fine, but it adds a big mess of colors randomly to all running lxc/vms making my own catagories hard to find. Please add to the ip-tagging.conf the option to force all added tags to be of one specific color.

If this possible? The color are auto generated by Proxmox himself. I think you can do an custom css on your Host

Im not sure. Chatgpt says its GUI only, but maybe its possible to pre make a catagory in the GUI and then add the auto gen tags to that catagory so they all end up the same color?

there are no category, i think you should use custom css for this

ahh i think i see now. The name IS the catagory. So you i think you cannot have different texts in the same catagory.

BUT i may have found a solution. check out

/etc/pve/datacenter.cfg

thats where all catagories are stored. Adding the same color to to all IP-tags would require to add them all here as catagories.
I think its a nice option to have. For me, im looking at a rainbow right now and i would pick a dark grey as color, the same as the darkmode background

i switch this to "show and tell" for other guys who may have been looking for exactly that

So adding the WHOLE range didnt break anything? i was scared the parser wasnt able to read the giant line of text.
I tried linebrakes but that didnt work.

everything is working without an issue ;) - I do have around 180VMs - all got correct color.

it would be nice to dynamically update datacenter.cfg without manual adding the range. Because in the ip-tag.conf there is an option to choose which octet you want as tag. (Which in my case doesnt work, but thats another question).
