Paperless-ngx samba consumer folder was only working at reboot

Am I the only one that the consumer folder was not working by default and only at reboot? For reference, I was mounting a samba to the consumer folder.

That is what worked for me:

Add a line to /etc/systemd/system/paperless-consumer.service before ExecStart loading the environment variables. The file looked like that at the end:

Description=Paperless consumer
Requires=redis.service

[Service]
WorkingDirectory=/opt/paperless/src
EnvironmentFile=/opt/paperless/paperless.conf
ExecStartPre=/bin/sleep 2
ExecStart=python3 manage.py document_consumer

[Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target

@a-hersa what have you done exatly to mount a samba folder? Is there a connection between paperless user and the smb share?

I mount the samba share on the host and then I mount that directory on the paperless LXC.
