Need help setting up PeaNUT. Web gui is asking for a host, username, port and password that the installation never asked me to setup

Upon going to my localip:3000 as instructed by the script, it's asking for a host address, username, password and port. I checked the PeaNUT documentation, and tried 2 of the default hosts (localhost, nut-upsd) and tried to login as root, since thats the only account i made at setup. Nothing works, it tells me to check the logs, I also don't know where the logs are. Can anyone point me the right direction? Thanks!

I'm not reporting an issue? I just don't understand how to use it.

@bobloadmire yeah that caused some thinking myself when I set up PeaNUT
first the configuration is not really on the PeaNUT site, you have to install NUT on the server which has access to the UPS
so in my situation I added the UPS to Proxmox. I did try to passtrough the USB to the peaNUT LXC but that did fail
when using on the promox server directly I did not find any issue

so install NUT

/etc/nut

nut.conf = standalone is configured
ups.conf I have at the bottom:
driver = usbhid-ups
port = auto

upsd.conf I added
LISTEN 127.0.0.1 3493
LISTEN ::1 3493
LISTEN 10.1.1.23 3493
LISTEN 10.1.1.23 1161
LISTEN ::1 1161
LISTEN 127.0.0.1 1161
LISTEN 0.0.0.0 1161

in upsd.users I added

[admin]
password = xxxxx
actions = set
actions = fsd
instcmds = all
actions = SNMP

saved it restarted it and it worked.. Cannot recall If I did any other magic ..

so In short the script expects the knowledge that you have to install NUT and that you have configured it. (and it cannot be done by the script, but should have been described more clearly) ..

maybe it helps. NB 4.4.4 gave issues to install with the update in my environment.
