Posibility to create "directdrive" disk cache offload for ram/vram for clip/vae/checkpoint?

As nvme's these days can read up to 7GB's sequential on gen 4, and 12GB iirc from gen 5, would it be possible to write the cache to "stay" on the nvme? That way it can just read from the stored cache at 7GB's directly to ram/vram of just the pieces it needs for the generation for any future image/video gens.
