Need help with disabling deleting the previous block when pressing backspace in empty paragraph.

As you can see in the block event source code when the user presses the backspace key and if the previous block doesn't have an input tag, it also deletes the previous block.

However, we have an image block that doesn't have an input tag inside. So whenever a user tries to delete the empty paragraph block which is after the image block, it deletes both the paragraph block and the image block.

How can I prevent this behavior?
